joining The Jacksonville
Amateur Radio Society.
If you are new to the Jacksonville Amateur Radio Society, or are not
familiar with all that the Jacksonville Amateur Radio Society brings to
area hams, welcome. We think you will be happy you got involved. If you
have been away from club activities or other things in life have
distracted you from amateur radio, now is the time to renew your
interest in the hobby and renew your Jacksonville Amateur Radio Society
membership. There has never been a better time to be a radio ham than
today! You are an important and valued part of the
Jacksonville
Amateur Radio Society. Help us continue in this tradition of technical
innovation.
The Jacksonville Amateur Radio Society Meetings
are held the First Friday of every month at 7:00pm. Currently
held at American Red Cross, 700
North Praire St., Jacksonville IL.

Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)
consists of licensed amateurs who have voluntarily registered their
qualifications and equipment for communications duty in the public
service when disaster strikes. If
you like to volunteer for ARES, please complete the following
application and submit it along with your membership application.
